In 2016, Richard and his wife, Janaya, decided that their expanding hair and beauty business had outgrown the salon in which it had started 26 years before. They began to look for larger premises in their home town of Chapel-en-le-Frith and found the perfect place at 73 Market Street. It had a town centre location and enough room to accommodate their growing business, but it would require a complete overhaul if it was to become the luxury salon that they wanted. Not put off at the prospect of months of building work, Richard and Janaya began to draw up their plans.

The salon today is the result of a full renovation, where Richard and Janaya worked closely with architects and designers to completely transform the space into a stylish and contemporary hair and beauty salon. Spread over 2 floors, it boasts custom made fittings that have been beautifully crafted to be both functional and aesthetically pleasing, and the combination of contemporary and original features work perfectly to create a modern style that is both warm and welcoming.
